Scholarship & Internship Programs

The CMAA SoCal Chapter Foundation offers annual scholarship and internship opportunities for students.  Corporate sponsors partner with the Foundation to offer a Construction Manager In Training (CMIT) guided internship program.  Corporate sponsors also provide many named scholarship opportunities for graduates and undergraduates of Architecture, Engineering and Construction Management Programs within the region. 2023

In 2023 Twenty Eight (28) students were selected to participate in our premier Summer Internship Program and $60,000 in scholarships were distributed to thirteen (13) students from eleven (11) institutions ranging between $1,250 to $7,500 during SoCal’s 30th Annual Awards Gala.

Scholarship and internship recipients attended the following institutions in our region:  Cal Baptist University, Cal Poly Pomona, Cal Poly SLO, CSU Fullerton, CSU Los Angeles, CSU Long Beach, CSU Northridge, East LA College, LA Mission College, LA Trade Tech, San Bernardino Valley College, UCLA, UC Irvine, UC Riverside, and USC.

2022 Scholarship Recipients

In 2022 Twenty (20) students were selected to participate in our CMIT guided pathway Summer Internship program and six (6) students received a $5,000 Scholarship during our SoCal 29th Annual Awards Gala.
